Newcomer Finger leads Greensburg Salem hockey team
Greensburg Salem, which lost in the Chiefs Cup final last season, started its season off well with a 13-3 win over Carrick Monday.
The Golden Lions were led by Jonathan Finger’s four goals. Finger was the leading scorer for Ligonier Valley last season, but Ligonier and Greesburg Salem have merged in a co-op agreement this season.
Logan Davis, Alex Kraisinger and Shawn Sperlik all had two goals for the Golden Lions. Finger, Sperlik, Davis and Vincent Defazio led Greensburg Salem with four points each.
