Gateway hockey team gets first win

After losing its first two games of the season by a combined score of 18-4, defending section champion Gateway got in the win column last Thursday with a 4-2 win over Plum.

scored two goals, including the last one with 20 seconds remaining to put the game away.

Tyler Perhac stopped 38 of 40 shots against Plum and held Andrew Walters, a 36-goal scorer last season, without a goal.

Zachary Dusch, who also had a goal against Plum, leads the Gators with three goals and four points this season.
