Orndorf wonderful in helping Beaver hockey team stop mini slide
After starting the season 3-1, Beaver came into Monday’s game against Trinity having lost its past two games by a combined score of 21-3.
Trinity came into the game with just one win, but jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the first period. That’s when Kevin Orndorf took over.
Orndorf tied the score with one second remaining in the first period, then netted two goals in the second period and added an assist in the third period as Beaver won 4-2.
Orndorf is now tied for the team lead in goals at five with Brendan Brown and leads Beaver with 11 points.
