Alumni Update - Ally Vrcek (Saint Vincent)

Sophomore pitcher Ally Vrcek, a Franklin Regional High School graduate, earned First-Team All-Presidents' Athletic Conference honors in softball.

Vrcek tops in the PAC with a 1.30 earned run average and ranks second with a .210 opponents' batting average. In 81.0 innings in her first year with the program, the sophomore recorded 112 strikeouts, fifth most in the conference.

She finished the year with a 6-4 record and one save in 18 appearances with 11 starts and five complete games. She yielded 62 hits and just 24 runs (15 earned) after transferring from Philadelphia (Pa.).
