Franklin Regional senior pitcher Sam Johnson had one of heck of a week pitching. Starting on April 25 Johnson fired a one-hitter in a 2-0 win over Woodland Hills. Two days later she struck out 12 in a 10-0 win at Penn Hills. And four days later she struck out eight while throwing a four-hitter in a win over Gateway.
Johnson, a Geneva College recruit, helped Franklin Regional to a 16-2 overall record this season and a Section 2-AAAA title with an 11-2 record.
