Margo Darragh ran the 800-meter event at the PIAA track and Field Championships this past weekend. With a time of 2:14.83, she took fifth place.
Darragh's was not only great acheivment for Fort Cherry last weekend. Jessie Merckle placed first in the javelin event. Merckle threw for a distance of 154-1. She is the first Fort Cherry female athlete to win a PIAA title.
