Alumni Update - Nicolette McHugh (Pitt-Greensburg)

Pitt-Greensburg freshman outfielder Nicolette McHugh, a Fort Cherry High School graduate, was a second-team selection on the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate All-Conference softball team.

McHugh led the team with a .447 (51-114) batting average.

She finished the 2012 season ranked in the top 10 in the AMCC in seven offensive statistical categories. She finished third in slugging percentage (.789), fourth in home runs (8) and total bases (90), fifth in batting average (.447), hits (51) and RBI (44), and ninth in on base percentage (.450).

McHugh also ranked in the top 10 in the nation in RBI per game and finished the year ranked 11th with 1.29 RBI per contest. She broke the Pitt-Greensburg single season record for hits, RBI and total bases.
