Background Info: Bellhy is a three-year starter, who also lettered as a freshman resever. She was named to the all-section team in both her sophomore and junior seasons. She was also named to the All-Washington-Greene County team. Bellhy has scored 763 points for the Rangers, and is on pace to pass the 1,000-point mark this season. Younger sisters Rachel and Tina also participate in the basketball program. Older brothers Zach and Nate both scored over 1,000 points for the Fort Cherry boys' program. Last year, Beka Bellhy she averaged 14.4 points and six rebounds a game. Bellhy is also an honor roll student and participates in volleyball and track and field.

Fort Cherry coach Bob Miles says: "Bekah is one of the hardest-working girls we've had in our program. She leads by example. She's not very vocal, but the kids pay attention to what she has to say. They see how hard she works. When opposing teams look at our roster, they know Beka is the player to stop."
