Alumni Update - Nicole Cherok (Duquesne)

Duquesne senior Nicole Cherok, an East Allegheny High School graduate, won the gold meal in the 400 meter hurdles with a school-record time of 59.91 at the Atlantic 10 Conference Track and Field Championships at Amherst, Mass., last weekend.

Cherok also was the part of two relay teams that finished in fifth place. She ran the first leg on the 4x100 team that included Shannon Abraham, Taylor Glenn and Tacquaya Tobias and had a of 46.92 also served as the first runner on the 4x400 team that had a time of 3:44.40 and included Abraham, Brittany Sinclair and Glenn.
