Coach Diane Daeschner says: "He has really taken on the leadership role and has spent time helping out his teammates. His progress over the last year has been tremendous. I know he concentrated on his serve in the off season and there has been a great improvement. He has also matured as a player and is more mentally strong during matches than in years past. He is a great asset to the team and we are hoping he will do well in the section singles and doubles tournaments."
