Charleroi football senior plans to bounce back this year
Brad Everett talked to Charleroi Area running back Quentin Briggs about coming back from a problematic ankle sprain and nearly-missed season.
"As his junior season neared, Charleroi Area running back Quentin Briggs hoped to build off the momentum he gained as a result of rushing for more than 1,000 yards in both his freshman and sophomore seasons.
That was before Briggs sustained a severe ankle sprain that summer, an injury he would re-aggravate in the first game, forcing him to miss three games and hampering him for most of the season.
"I was upset for awhile," Briggs said. "I didn't cry, but it killed me to sit there and just watch."
But now, after agonizing through a season he said "destroyed him," Briggs begins his senior season looking to rebuild."
