Molinari only one to find back of net for Central Valley hockey team
Anthony Molinari was the leading returning scorer for Central Valley this season after scoring eight goals and notching nine assists last season.
So far this season, he is the only Central Valley player to find the back of the net.
Molinari scored both of the team’s goals in a 5-2 loss to John Marshall Monday. Central Valley was shut out in its other game this season, a 7-0 defeat to Harbor Creek.
Goaltender Jacob Cowie, meanwhile, has been plenty busy in net. He stopped 47-of-54 shots in the loss to Harbor Creek, then faced another 37 shots in the loss to John Marshall.
