Alumni Update - Annie Bozich (Robert Morris)

Robert Morris had the second-best team score in the final round of play at the Northeast Conference Women's Golf Championship on Sunday, moving up two spots in the standings to finish fifth in the 11-team field that played the LPGA International course in Daytona Beach, Fla.

Sophomore Annie Bozich, a Center High School graduate, beat her previous career-best score by four strokes.

Bozich found 13 strokes from her previous round on the Championship Course at LPGA International, shooting a round of 76 that bested her previous best score by four strokes. The Beaver County-native's round featured birdies on the par-four fourth hole, the par-four seventh and the par-3 14th. Bozich also had five bogeys and a double-bogey.

Her final round surge put her 31st overall with a 252 total.

LIU Brooklyn shot the lowest round of the tournament Sunday to erase a nine-stroke deficit and win the team title with a three-round total of 919. Fairleigh Dickinson finished second with a 924 followed by Monmouth (941), Sacred Heart (955), Robert Morris (962), Saint Francis (Pa.) (968), Central Connecticut State (971), Wagner (980), Quinnipiac (1,039), Mount St. Mary's (1,045) and St. Francis (N.Y.) (1,191).
