Central Catholic hockey team's defense to get test
Central Catholic has allowed just 13 goals in six games this season, but will face a tough test against State College tonight.
State College (2-1) has 20 goals in three games and has not scored less than three goals in any contest this season.
Stefan Horgas had eight goals in State College’s first two games, including a five-goal effort against Butler on Nov. 8. He scored 24 goals last season and 20 goals in 2010-11.
He will be going against either Kevin Dzuibek or Brian Burger in goal for Central Catholic. The two goaltenders have combined to stop 99-of-111 shots (.892 save percentage) this season.
Tonight’s game is scheduled to start at 6:45 in State College.
