Alumni Update - Andrew Taglianetti (Pitt)

Pitt redshirt junior safety Andrew Taglianetti had six tackles (two solos) in a 28-6 loss to Southern Methodist in the Compass Bowl on Saturday at Birmingham, Ala.

The Central Catholic High School graduate started the final six games of the season and finished with 49 tackles, two passes broken up, one sack, one forced fumble and one sack as Pitt went 6-7. Taglianetti also blocked one punt, raising his career total to six, which ties the Pitt record.
