SchroederBrandonWest Liberty junior wide receiver Brandon Schroeder was honored as a Capital One Academic All-District 1 first-team selection in NCAA Division II football.

Individuals are selected based on their academic and athletic accomplishments and voted on by the College Sports Information Directors of America. To be eligible, players must have spent more than one season at the institution, participated in 50 percent of the team's games and have a cumulative grade-point average higher than 3.30.

As first team Academic All-District selection, Schroeder advances for consideration for Academic All-America honors.
