Alumni Update - Drew Donoghue (Slippery Rock)

Slippery Rock senior defender Drew Donoghue was a first-team selection on the All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Team.

Donoghue, a Butler High School grdaute, earned his first career postseason award after anchoring one of the best defensive units in the region. He added to the offensive effort with a team-high four assists and played center back in a unit that allowed just 18 goals in 21 games.

Slippery Rock finished the season 11-4-6 and advanced to the PSAC championship game, where Mercyhurst won 1-0. The six ties were the most in school history.
