Saint Vincent senior gaurd Chris Klimchock was named the Presidents' Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week.
Klimchok, a Greensburg Salem High School graduate, led the Bearcats in scoring in all three games last week, including a career-high 29 points at Carnegie Mellon.
Against La Roche, an NCAA Division III Tournament team last season, he scored 24 points and added six assists and four rebound
s. In the Carnegie Mellon Tournament championship game against No. 19 St. Mary’s (Md.), Klimchock had 14 points and seven assists.
For the week, he shot 39.5 percent (17-of-43) from the field, 42.9 percent (6-of-14) from three-point range and 90.0 percent (27-of-30) from the free-throw line. He also averaged 22.3 points, 2.7 rebounds, 4.7 assists and 2.0 steals per contest.
