Alumni Update - Ryan Kragnes (Penn State Behrend)

Penn State Behrend junior outfielder Ryan Kragnes, a Bethel Park High School graduate, was named an Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference South Region All-Star.

Kragnes was honored on the second-team. He led the team runs scored (54), walks (31), and on-base percentage (.508) from the leadoff spot while also hitting .387 with 10 doubles and 18 RBIs.

Kragnes also earned the program’s Golden Glove for his stellar defense and received First-Team All-Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference accolades for the second consecutive season. He also broke the school record for stolen bases in a season with 36.

Behrend finished the season with a 29-15-1 mark and won the ECAC South Region Tournament for the third time in school history.
