Alumni Update - Madelyn Monte (Penn State Behrend)

Penn State Behrend sophomore defender Madelyn Monte was named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week.

Monte, a Beaver High School graduate, played a pivotal role as Penn State Behrned shut out D'Youville 1-0 in the semifinals of the AMCC tournament then held Pitt-Bradford scoreless over the final 83 minutes of a 2-1 double-overtime victory in the championship game. The Lions won their second straight AMCC title.
