Baldwin's Lauterbach especially tough on unfamiliar softball opponents
Teams who have not faced Baldwin’s dominating senior pitcher Anna Lauterbach, should be thankful unless of course they plan on seeing her in the future.
Lauterbach has one of the strongest arms in the WPIAL. Against unfamiliar opponents she can really exploit that heat.
“If teams know us well, Anna is going to have to locate,” Baldwin coach Samantha Hovanec said. “The teams who do not know us, she can overpower them. She has a curve, a drop, a fast ball and a change up.”
Lauterbach received a full-ride to St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia. She has helped her team to a 10-4 overall record and 5-2 mark in Section 4-AAAA for the playoff-bound Highlanders.
