Beaver, Freedom, Riverside, South Side bringing coed track teams to WPIAL semifinals
WPIAL track team semifinals are today at 3pm. This means we finally get an idea of how to answer the age-old question: just what went on in all those section meets?
The West is well represented on the Class AA brackets. Beaver Area’s boys’ and girls teams are both going to semifinals at host South Fayette. Other west AA teams entering both boys and girls are: Freedom, Riverside and South Side Beaver.
In fact, Freedom, Riverside, and South Side Beaver are all competing as one bracket, hosted by Section 1-AA’s Riverside.
The remaining West Class AA teams competing in semifinals today are:
Fort Cherry (girls)
Burgettstown (boys)
Ellwood City (Boys)
