The daughter of former Pitt standout Curtis Aiken, Alexis had an outstanding senior season for the Tigers. She averaged 16.6 points and 9.5 rebounds a game in earning all-section honors. ... Aiken has scored more than 1,000 points for her varsity career and was selected as one of the top five players in Class AAAA by the Post-Gazette. ... She has verbally committed to IUP.

Emily Johanson, Pine-Richland, Guard, 5-10, Sr.
She is proof that hard work pays off. Johanson wanted to have an outstanding senior season and spent a lot of time in the gym improving her game. ... She averaged 17 points and 4.4 rebounds in leading the Rams to a 15-10 record and a spot in the WPIAL playoffs. ... A shooting guard, she was one of the leading vote-getters in the balloting for the Section 3-AAAA all-section team.

Lauren Mayernik, Avonworth, Forward, 5-9, Sr.
A third-team, all-state selection in Class AA, Mayernik put up some impressive numbers for her career at Avonworth. She finished with 1,376 career points and pulled down 1,144 rebounds. This season she averaged 23.3 points and 15.1 rebounds per game. ... She was selected as one of the top five players in Class AA in the WPIAL by the Post-Gazette.

Brenna Wise, Vincentian, Guard/forward, 6-0, Fr.
Tall and talented, she burst onto the scene for the Royals and was one of the top freshmen in the state, earning third-team honors in Class A on the all-state team. ... Wise averaged 18.1 points and 10 rebounds a game as Vincentian won the WPIAL Class A title and played in the PIAA semifinals. ...
