City Baseball and Softball update, Brentwood at Carrick baseball game tonight
It’s a close race in City League baseball right now. Brasher (13-3, 9-1) is first, ahead of Allderdice (14-3, 6-2) in the City League Section 1 standings. Carrick is third (6-8, 4-5). Earlier this week, Brashear posted an important win over Allderdice. The Bulls beat the Dragons 7-6 at Allderdice.
In the softball standings, undefeated Brashear (12-0, 9-0) is first. Allderdice (9-6, 9-1) is second, and Carrick (7-5, 7-4) is third. Note that City League softball is not divided into sections the way baseball is.
While there are no City softball games scheduled for today, Carrick s hosting Brentwood (10-7, 7-5) for baseball at 7pm. The weather forecast is clear with a high of 73 degrees.
