Tweets: Allderdice's Dobbs to work and work out this summer
Many can recall the basketball exploits of Allderdice 2012 senior Justin Dobbs. As of March 12, Dobbs ws averaging 21 points per game. This stat factors in performances like the 39 points, five assists, and four steals Dobbs got against Brashear (in a 74-52 Allderdice win).
At that time, Dobbs had received scholarship offers frm California University of Pennsylvania and IUP. But Dobbs has tweeted more recently about how he's keeping busy for the summer.
On June 11, Dobbs tweeted that he'd just obtained his first job:
"Just got my first job today smh now I can only go out on weekends cause I work 5am-3pm."
In addition to getting up early for work, Dobbs made it clear that he'd be training hard.
"Schools out!" tweeted Dobbs on June 6. "That means heavy training starts tomorrow. Weights, running, hoops, and diet."
Dobbs was selected as MVP of City League basketball play for the 2012 season.
