"Gateway has secondary education" - by Mike White.

"Earlier this sesason, Gateway coach Terry Smith called his secondary "the best in the country."

That is debatable, but Smith's four defensive backs certainly are unusual in this respect: It looks like all four will end up at a Division I college.

Safeties Montae Nicholson and Anthony Davis, and cornerback Delvon Randall are juniors but all have scholarship offers from Division I colleges already. Todd Jeter is a senior cornerback who doesn't have a Division I offer yet, but Smith said, "He will have offers by the time we finish the season."

"Clairton has three guys who play some at defensive back and have Division I offers," Smith said. "Clairton has a good group of kids. But it is unusual to have four like we do, and three of them are juniors.""
