Girls Volleyball: Schedule & Games to Watch (Sept. 11)

Tuesday's girls volleyball schedule includes five key matches:

Here is the schedule for Tuesday, Sept. 11
** A rematch of last year's WPIAL Class AAA title match will take place when Seneva Valley travels to Pine-Richland for a Section 3-AAA Tournament. Pine-Richland is No. 3 in the Class AAA rankings, while Seneca Valley is No. 5.
** Sole posession of first place in Section 5-AAA is up for grabs when No. 6 Mt. Lebanon travels to No. 10 Monotur. Both teams enter the match with a 2-0 record in the section.
** Freeport, the No. 2 team in Class AA, plays host to No. 8 Knoch in Section 4-AA. Freeport is 1-0 in the section. Knoch is 2-0.
** Seton-LaSalle returns to Class AA when it travels to South Fayette in a Section 6-AA game. It's a section opener for both teams. Seton-LaSalle is ranked No. 7, while South Fayette is No. 10.
** In Class A, No. 3 Bishop Canevin plays host to No. 5 Chartiers-Houston in Section 6-A. Both teams are 2-0 in the section.
