Fifteen volleyball players from WPIAL voted to PVCA Boys All-State Teams

Ambridge had four players voted to the Pennsylvania Volleyball Coaches Association Class AA All-State Team, including sophomore outside hitter Lee Smith, who was chosen for the second straight year. The other three Ambridge players recognized were: libero Cody Brooks, opposite Brandon Buck, and setter Justin Gleason.

Derry outside hitter Jeremy Hauser and Deer Lakes outside hitter Tony Nicotra were also recognized for a second straight year.

Hauser was joined on the All-State team by two teammates: setter Andy Panizzi and outside hitter Matt Vasinko.

In Class AAA, three WPIAL players were recognized for a second straight year: Seneca Valley middle hitter Chad Albert, and North Allegheny outside hitters Zach Shaw and Tommy Keisling.

Others voted to the Class AAA team were: Norwin middle hitter Nate Derry, Seneca Valley setter Max McCloskey, Norwin libero Cody Stitely, and Bethel Park opposite Grant Underwood.
