Saint Vincent senior guard Chris Klimchock, a Greensburg Salem graduate, was named the Presidents' Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week.
Klimchock led Saint Vincent to two wins that moved the Bearcats to 13-1 in the conference while maintaining the top spot atop the PAC standings with co-leader Thomas More. For the week the 5-8 Klimchock averaged 20.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2.5 steals while shooting 40.0 percent (12-of-30) from the field, 36.4 percent (4-of-11) from three-point range and 100.0 percent (12-of-12) at the free-throw line.
Against Geneva, Klimchock set a career high with 31 points, the highest scoring total by a Bearcat this season. He shot 10-of-15 from the field and 3-of-6 from beyond-the-arc and was 8-of-8 at the charity stripe. Against Bethany, he helped Saint Vincent sweep the Bison for the first time since the 2008-09 season with nine points, four boards, four steals and three assists.
