Chartiers Valley hockey team's McMahon shows off scoring touch in All-Star Game

No one in Class AA has found the back of the net more often this regular season than Chartiers Valley’s Cullen McMahon.

The same was true in the PIHL Class AA All-Star game Sunday

McMahon was one of two players -- along with Latrobe’s Josh Singley to score two goals in the showcase at RMU Sports Island Center. However, his Southwest Conference team fell, 7-4.

McMahon, a junior, has 35 goals this season, which is five more than anyone else in Class AA. His 55 points are second in the league, one point back of teammate Anthony Franks.

Franks, also a junior, assisted on both of McMahon’s goals Sunday and finished the game with three helpers.

Chartiers Valley is currently third in Class AA in points with 25.
