Boys Golf: Canon-McMillan's Waller fires 34 against Peters

Canon-McMillan senior Lauren Waller shot a 2-under-par round of 34, but she and her Canon-McMillan High boys golf team saw their season record drop to 3-3 with a 188-203 loss to Peters Township in a match played this past Thursday at Lindenwood Golf Club.

The victory was the seventh in a row for the unbeaten Indians, and the win lifted their Section 7-AAA record to 2-0.

Junior Jake Sollon fired a 1-under-par round of 35 too lead the Indians. Senior Ben Morgret had an even-par round of 36. Juniors Alec Stopperich and Connor Schmidt shot 3-over-par rounds of 39 as did sophomore Tanner Johnson.

Regis Nairn shot a 41 for Canon-McMillan. The Big Macs other competitors were Waller's younger sister, Taylor Waller (42), Jack Clendaniel (43) and Vinny Lavorgna (43).
