Background info: Bridgette is a three-year starter who is averaging about 14 points and four rebounds per game. In the Cougars' 83-55 victory over Hempfield Area on Saturday night in the championship game of the Hempfield Tournament, Bridgette converted six 3-point field goals and now has 23 for the season A year ago, she and Chassidy Omogrosso each converted 73 3-point goals, which stands as the school's record. Bridgette also plays softball for the Cougars where she earned all-section honors as a pitcher when she was a sophomore.

Coach Steve Lodovico said: "Bridgette is one of the best pure shooters in the WPIAL. She puts a lot of time into her shooting ability, and she has a lot of God-given talent. She works out quite a bit out on her own as she also is quite good at softball. Bridgette also is a good defender and is probably our leading rebounder at the guard position."
