Here are the 2014 West softball All-Stars.

Player of the Year
Casey Farkasovsky, Beaver Area, Pitcher, Soph. - Was 14-0, hit eight home runs, led team in RBIs on its way to WPIAL title

The Others
Connor McGaffic, South Side Beaver, First Baseman, Soph. - Had 14 home runs and 46 RBIs and is already committed to Pitt

Katie Tarr, Burgettstown, Pitcher, Soph. - Had 7-3 record for the Blue Devils while also batting .596 with 26 RBIs

Sami Scopel, Burgettstown, Infielder, Jr. - Batted .472 with 24 RBIs for Section 1-A championship team

Ashley Iagnemma, South Fayette, Pitcher, Jr. - Went 14-2, struck out 151 and had 30 RBIs as Lions won Section 2-AAA title

Tayven Rousseau, Beaver Area, Catcher, Fr. - Led WPIAL champions in runs scored (29) and triples (4) as first-year player

Sara Jubas, South Fayette, Catcher, Fr. - Precocious youngster led Lions with .648 batting average

Taylor DiPerna, OLSH, Shortstop, Jr. - Batted .545, stole 26 bases, scored 19 runs as Chargers made WPIAL playoffs

Malory Gerst, Montour, Catcher, Sr. - Excellent defensive catcher also batted .438 for Spartans

Emily Bryan, South Fayette, Third Baseman, Soph. - Drove in 26 runs to help Lions win a section championship
