Player of the Year
Claire Oberdorf, Greensburg Salem, Shortstop, Jr. - Her 10 home runs were a single-season school record for 18-3 Lions

The Others
Kasey Kolick, Hempfield Area, First Baseman, Sr. - Batted .483 while only striking out once all season for Spartans

Nicole Smith, Penn-Trafford, Pitcher, Jr. - Finished 7-2 with a 1.53 ERA and 82 strikeouts for Section 1-AAAA co-champs

Jordan Seneca, Plum, Shortstop, Sr. - Drove in 38 runs, hit 10 home runs and batted .717 for section co-champions

Melissa LeClair, Plum, Third Baseman, Sr. - Batted .509 with 33 RBIs and four home runs as Mustangs went 16-4

Melissa Wagner, Greensburg Salem, Pitcher, Sr. - Was 12-1 with 101 strikeouts for Section 1-AAA champions

Shelby Noel, Greater Latrobe, First Baseman, Sr. - Outstanding hitter batted .600 without striking out

Meredith Carr, Greater Latrobe, Pitcher, Fr. - Maintained an eye-popping 0.90 ERA over 91 innings

Melissa Mazzei, Burrell, Shortstop, Sr. - Drove in 15 runs, batted .580 with five home runs

Alaina Montgomery, Hempfield Area, Catcher, Sr. - Standout backstop scored 25 runs and batted .391
