Overseas Elite keeps on winning, which means three Schenley greats are getting close to winning a nice chunk of change.

Two-time defending champion Overseas Elite defeated the Tampa Bulls, 84-76, Friday night in The Basketball Tournament (TBT) Super 16. The tournament champion takes home a winner-take-all prize of $2 million. Overseas Elite, a No. 1 seed, advances to Sunday's quarterfinals and will take on No. 2 Ram Nation, a team of VCU alumni. That game wil be played at Long Island University in Brooklyn and will be televised on ESPN at 2 p.m.

Three former Schenley stars -- D.J. Kennedy, DeAndre Kane and DeJuan Blair -- combined to score 24 points in Overseas Elite's win. All three started the game, the first time that has happened in a meaningful game since the trio led Schenley to the PIAA Class 4A title in 2007.

Kennedy finished with 11 points and 6 rebounds. Kane scored 10 points and 4 assists. Blair chipped in 3 points. Through three games, Kennedy is averaging 16.7 points, Kane 9 and Blair 8.
