Boys Lacrosse: Allderdice fighting through another tough season

Written by Brad Everett on .

Things haven't been easy for the Allderdice boys lacrosse team in recent years.

This season has been no different.

Allderdice, the only City League school with a lacrosse team, is off to an 0-5 start. That includes lopsided defeats to Moon, Aquinas Academy, Vincentian, Seton-LaSalle and Fairview. The Dragons have been outscored, 75-8.

Allderdice, which competes in WPIAL Division 2 Section 1, is ranked No. 39 among the 40 Western Pennsylvania teams by Laxpower.com.

Since finishing 12-3 in 2009, Allderdice has amassed an 8-52-1 record the past five seasons. The Dragons went 0-14 last season and have won no more than two games the past four seasons.
