Alumni Update: Tyrique Jarrett (Pitt)

Freshman defensive lineman Tyrique Jarrett has joined the Pitt football program for the new academic term.

Jarrett, a Taylor Allderdice graduate spent the fall term prepping at Milford Academy in Milford, N.Y. He will be eligible for spring practice.

Jarrett, a Taylor Allderdice graduate, helped Milford Academy to a 7-4 record during the 2012 season against a schedule comprised largely of collegiate competition. He totaled 26 tackles, seven tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, one interception (returned for a touchdown) and one blocked field goal.

Prior to Milford, earned status as the Pittsburgh City League's top lineman in 2011.
