"Montour senior quarterback Randall LaBrie is drawing comparisons to Rod Woodson.

No, LaBrie isn't on the same talent level of Woodson, a former Steeler and Pro Football Hall of Famer. But LaBrie has something in common with Woodson in fighting the battle of wounded knee. Maybe it's a story of the marvels of modern-day medicine combined with a motivated youngster.

LaBrie was expected to be a talented quarterback for Montour this season. But during a workout in June, LaBrie tore the ACL in his right knee. He had surgery in the first week of June.

But LaBrie was back playing quarterback for Montour Friday night, throwing for a touchdown and running for one in a 26-6 victory against Ambridge."
